This module is designed to aid in the installation of dwarf and pedestal position light signals. Each module features circuitry to safely operate either one pedestal signal, or two dwarf signals. Once installed, these signals can easily interface with any number of commercially available signal control systems.

This module dramatically simplifies the installation process for PL-4 and PL-5 signals! The module is designed to safely operate the signal lamps between 5 and 12 volts DC.
Once installed, simply connect the inputs corresponding to the desired aspect for each signal head, and the correct lights are automatically illuminated. When being used with a pedestal signal, the module features provisions for illuminating the lower right lamp on its own, which is used for the “Clear Block”, “Caution”, and “Stop and Proceed” aspects. Included with the module are standard pitch header pins, which can be used to interface with existing control circuitry.
This module is specifically designed for use with position light signals manufactured by D5 DEM Model Smiths. Proper operation cannot be guaranteed when using this module with signals made by other manufacturers.
